LITHUANIA, LATIVIA AND ESTONIA

JUNE 8TH to JUNE 20TH 2018

Departure from Toronto on the 8th of June with arrival in Vilnius, Lithuania on the 9th.

Day Free in Vilnius on the 10th until mid afternoon tour of the city.

Biking is between 30 and 55 km per day (20 to 35 miles per day) almost exclusively on quiet roads. Though most of the trip is relatively flat, there will be some short ups and downs. As in most European countries, there can be some unexpected detours, delays and uneven terrain. When distance is long between hotels, there will be bus or van transportation.

There will be many interesting visits and explorations including:

Cycling along Lake Galva to Gothic Trakai Island Castle – State quarters of 15th Century Lithuanian Grand Duke.

Visit to amber museum in former palace of a count.

Cycling along Baltic Coast. Boating excursion on the Baltic to dunes and beaches. Opportunity to bath in the Baltic.

Guided tour of medieval hansa town of Riga, Latvia. Visit an 11th century church and a bicycle museum in Saulkrasti.

Cycling through old Estonia on Saaremaa Island.

Tour ends in Tallinn, Estonia with a city tour on the afternoon of the 19th.

Cost $3100.00 per person. The cost includes transatlantic air fare from Toronto, Hotels with breakfast, Transfers, City Guided Tours, Bike Rental, Van Support and usual Surprises.

Deposit of $500.00 per person is necessary to reserve one of the limited places on this special tour. Final Payment of $2600.00 per person due on February 1st, 2018. All prices are based on double occupancy. Single supplement is $500.00. No refunds after the 1st of February 2018. Travel insurance is advised.
